The Red Interior

Last week we met Mom in Melbourne and flew to Alice Springs, in the middle of the continent. The dirt was extremely red! We rode camels and saw the Royal Flying Doctor Service - the medical service that flys tiny planes to little dirt runways in the middle of nowhere, to extract people who need medical care. Then we drove five hours through the most remote part of the world we've ever been to (we only passed about 6 buildings/residences) until we got to Uluru (the biggest rock in the world). We saw a wild camel and wild dingos.
