Language

We have noticed some funny things that people say:

When you go someplace, you "rock up" there. For example, Kristen and Dylan rocked up to the restraunt.

Instead of saying do or doing, Australians say go or going. So, how are you doing? is how you going? and How did you do? is How'dya go?

Cars that are not fuel efficient are called "thirsty."

Yeah, I loved the language thing. Our whole group in Africa were from Australia and we tried to pick up on as much of the slang as we could.

like "ta" instead of thanks

Happy to see you're doing well! (Or is that going well?)

Davis Cup this weekend-- we hope to see Dylan's folks there.

HI from the folks at Courthouse--we miss you.
